Gala Per Pound

Discovered in New Zealand in 1934 by orchardist, JH Kidd, Gala is a cross between Golden Delicious and Kidds orange red apple. Mellow, sweet flavor with floral aroma and hints of vanilla, a great snacking apple, added to salads, juicing, and freezing.;)
